Lawrence Kinzie's journey began in Missouri and Indiana before he enlisted in the military at 19, primarily serving with the Rakkasans in Kentucky. Concurrently, he pursued Business Management studies while deployed for Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, accumulating a decade of service, including combat.
After leaving the military, Lawrence rehabilitated from injuries, earning his EMT license and working for two years before becoming a Paramedic. He later attained a Critical Care Paramedic License with ST Thomas EMS by April 2022. Alongside his EMS career, Lawrence ventured into agriculture, establishing a cattle farm in Lewis County. In 2018, he successfully ran for Office of Constable, securing re-election in 2022.
In 2010, Lawrence met his wife, Rebecca, through their shared roles in local emergency medical services. Raised on a farm, Rebecca pursued healthcare, becoming an RN in 2016 after starting as a scrub tech. Balancing full-time work, she graduated with honors, first as an LPN, then as an RN in 2016. She has excelled in various roles, including Charge Nurse and Preceptor..
Together, they're dedicated to community service, aiming to expand Kozy Kabins for wider community enrichment.

At Kozy Kabins, We Have A Unique Vision
At Kozy Kabins, our Vision is to extend our presence beyond Lewis County to encompass various counties in Tennessee and other states. Through these expansions, we aim to diversify our services. This includes collaborating with local churches and county governments to provide housing for the homeless and others as they transition through hardships in their lives. Additionally, we aspire to offer secure accommodations for battered women in transition, working in conjunction with state or county authorities to support their relocation needs.
